Teacher's Classes

This hands-on World History class will take students on an exciting journey through history from the dawn of civilization to the present day! Students will “experience history” in class as we “travel through time”. We will utilize class discussion, projects, games, and other interactive activities to learn how we arrived at this point in history.

Primary source documents, current events, and the textbook will also be investigated to aid students in understanding the various political, social, religious, and economic developments that have shaped and continue to shape the World. Emphasis will be placed on viewing history through the lens of the Bible as students develop skills that will help them become better critical thinkers and global citizens.

Textbook:      BJU Press World History (5th ed) ISBN - 978-1-62856-344-3

Successful completion of this course earns 1 High School World History Honors credit.

Note:  Internet access outside of class will be critical.  Please consult with Mrs. Cervantes if you do not have internet access.

Tuition is due on the first day of class each month. Late tuition payments incur a fee of $10 per week.  A two-month drop fee is charged if the student withdraws from class after October 1st.
