The 5th edition of Science 5 guides students through scientific reasoning and questioning using the Socratic method. Science 5 builds on the foundations of previous years in Elementary Science, while equipping students to apply science to life through observation and study.  Science 5 covers physical science, life science, earth and space science and four systems of the human body.  As with the other BJU books, Science 5 embraces a biblical worldview and has an end goal being the building of inquiry skills, vocabulary and a love for learning!

The lessons will be centered around a weekly reading assignment, as well as pages to be completed in the student activity manual.  Your child will participate in class discussions, group and individual activities, experiments and special projects.  Students should set aside additional time each week to prepare for regular chapter tests.
