The 5th edition of Science 5 guides students through scientific reasoning and questioning using the Socratic method. Science 5 builds on the foundations of previous years in Elementary Science, while equipping students to apply science to life through observation and study. As with the other BJU books, Science 5 embraces a biblical worldview and covers life science, physical science, and earth science with the end goal being the building of inquiry skills, vocabulary and a love for learning!

The lessons will be centered around a weekly reading assignment, as well as pages to be completed in the student activity manual.  Your child will participate in class discussions, group and individual activities, experiments and special projects.  Students should set aside additional time each week to prepare for regular chapter tests.

Prerequisite: Student must be at least 10 years old and read and write proficiently at a 5th grade level.

Tuition:  Monthly tuition is due the first class of each month.  Late tuition will incur a late fee of $10.  For students who drop the class after September 30, three month's tuition will be required as a drop fee.  For students who drop the class after December 15, the remainder of tuition for the year will be due.
