A bridge to upper level high school mathematics, this foundational course is highly interactive and will help to clarify and strengthen the student’s mathematical understanding from elementary and prepare him or her for the independence of Pre-Algebra and high school math.

Mathematics 7 Curriculum Description:

• Whole numbers (rounding, exponents, square roots)
• Addition/ Subtraction/Multiplication/ Division
• Decimals
• Fractions (equivalent, add/subtract/multiply/divide)
• Number Theory (factors/ multiples, GCF, LCM)
• Prime/Composite
• Rational Numbers(ratios, proportions, rate, percents)
• Measurement
• Geometry (similar/congruent, circumference)
• Surface Area/ Volume
• Probability
• Integers
• Intro to Algebra (relations/functions/expressions/inequalities)

This class will meet twice a week on either Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Textbook:  BJU Fundamentals of Math Student Worktext (2nd Ed.)

Tuition:  $700/year or $70/month for 10 months

Non-refundable Supply Fee: $65/year; due to Ms.Bakken upon registration with PREPCLASSES.

Drop Fee after September 15 will be 2 months tuition.

Drop Fee after December 15 will be the remaining year’s tuition.
