Our mission is to bring parents and teachers together by offering excellence-driven, Christ-centered classes for home schooling families.
We are not a private school. We are a branch of the West Houston Home Educators homeschool group. In existence since 1995, PREP offers positive classroom experiences while maintaining high academic standards. PREP teachers supply the expertise that many teaching parents need to support their family's homeschooling endeavors.
With PREP you choose only those classes that are right for your student.
Our students are better prepared for life after homeschool as they are challenged to schedule their time and work independently between classes, much like a college schedule.
Our teachers do provide grade reports and evaluations, but since our purpose is to support home education we don’t provide transcripts or records. Students do not “graduate” from PREP.
* Teachers provide instruction, give assignments, and evaluate performance.
* Students learn, think, and discuss in class and work to complete assignments at home.
* Parents oversee their students' work during the week, providing assistance where necessary and ensuring that their student is prepared for class.
